About the Webmaster!

Hi there! I'm a self taught digital artist and the webmaster of this site from the US! I guess I can call myself a bit of a web developer too! I've never coded much until this year in January.

If it wasn't obvious by the theme of this website, I am a HUGE Infinity Train fan. I'm also a psychology major in university at the moment! I don't really have much to say about myself, but I'm SUPER passionate about my writing and headcanons, so that's a pretty easy way to get me warm up to someone. That, and talking about my long term passion project.

I initially made this website because I thought it was fun and I wanted to try my hand at making my own website. I tried to figure it out in 2022 (?) and nearly gave up for good. Actual depiction of me (I'm the guy at the bottom):

Then I had to take a leave of abscene from school for mental health reasons and I was at home for a year. I decided to pick up a hobby while I was at home and decided to go back to neocities after seeing a tumblr post about it. I decided to try neocities again. And so here I am, one year later.

Like I said on the home page, I'm working on this site so I can eventually delete all my social medias and just hang here. It's nice. But for now I continue tinkering awat at this website to my liking.

FAQ

Q:What got you into Infinity Train?

A: I watched the first season when it aired on TV and some bits of the second season! I had no idea there was a third or fourth season until Book 4 aired in 2021.So I binged watched the entre season from start to finsh, and I've been in special interest hell ever since. Hell, that's why my page theme is dedicated to Infinity Train!

Q: What do you use to draw?

A: For a while, I used autodesk sketchbook when I was learning to draw before moving on to ibis paint. As of January 2023, I use procreate on my IPad. The brushes I use vary from piece to piece.

Q:I like your edits/art! May I use them as a pfp?

A:Of course! Just credit me if you're using it on a public account! Please don't repost them though!

Q:Do you take requests?

A:Not really. I'm open to suggestions as to what I draw, but I'll probably draw it if I'm interested.

Q: Who's Portia and why do you always talk about her?

A: Weeeeeeell she's technically a canon background character in Infinity Train. She's the girl who asks Ryan and Min-Gi if they have any cassettes for sale. While the wiki lists her as nothing more than "Teen Fan", the fandom also refers to her as "Cassette Girl" (not to be confused with the character from Friday Night Funkin'). I basically gave her a name and fleshed out her character and she's more or less kind of my oc now. My baby daughter. I'm going to make a fully detailed page about her lore one of these days. This is what she looks like. This is nowhere near the content I have about her but here's her tag on my tumblr. Q:What the heck is gilded allegro?

A:Gilded Allegro is the familial dynamic between Grace Monroe and Ryan Akagi of Infinity Train. Sometimes they are referred to as twins, but other times Ryan is slightly older, other times Ryan would be his canonical age by book 3 (51) while Grace is 18 and they'd have more of a father/child dynamic over a brother/sister one.

Part of the reason Ryan and Grace are headcanoned to be found family is that they can potentially understand each other’s struggles/experiences in ways that their other friends cannot. Ryan and Grace’s need to put on a “performance” or some sort of facade stems from the lack of attention from their parents. Ryan became more of a “class clown” and a rebel to get noticed (regardless of if he got good or bad attention, as long as it got eyes on him) while Grace was more of a “mean girl” or a bully (to protect herself from future heartbreak/hurt).

Grace and Ryan want someone to love and care for them, for them and not a glorified, perfect image of what others want to perceive them as. Grace doesn’t necessarily get that from Simon because as much as he deeply cared for her, he’s still attached to his idea of Grace, his hero, his co-leader and co-founder of the beliefs that made him what he is in canon. Ryan has abandonment issues stemming from Min-Gi ditching him at the battle of the bands, and desperately does whatever he can to avoid that same abandonment again from other people. Grace is stuck maintaining an image her whole childhood and even then she’s still denied the love and affection she’s desired for years from her parents. Ryan feels that he’s unable to live up to what’s expected of him from his family and thus feels like he’s being pushed out to the side in favor of the rest of his family and he’s trying to find some way back in.

Q:How did you learn to code?

A: Mostly w3 schools, stalking stackoverflow dicussions for answers and watching tutorials on youtube.
